Case study — Drive Gas

Drive Gas

A single image. A character able to carry a whole campaign.

Drive Gas came to us with two things: the image of a character and the wish to explain the new bonus scheme at its filling stations.

What the brand gained from this campaign.

  • A character of its own

A still image became a hero we can use again.

  • A clear mechanic

The promotion turned into a story people follow.

  • Voice and music

The spot has a sound identity of its own.

  • Campaigns that continue

The character can come back in new episodes.

From an image to a character who speaks.

We started from the Drive Gas mascot and gave it a voice, expressions and movement. In the spot it explains to drivers how the promotion works and what they stand to gain.

We combined animation, AI-generated elements and explanatory graphics in one video, where the character and the information complete each other naturally.

What we built

We developed the character's expressiveness and behaviour, built the story around it, and turned commercial information into a spot that is easy to follow.

  • Character development
  • Concept and script
  • The visual world and the scenes
  • Animation
  • The character's voice
  • Lyrics and music

What we builtThe promo mechanic

From the idea
to the final production.

  1. 01

    Concept & characters

We define the story, the personalities and the world it happens in.

  2. 02

    Classic 3D build

We model and texture whatever has to stay identical in every shot.

  3. 03

    Sets & props

We build the environments and objects that carry the story.

  4. 04

    Hybrid production

The rest of the shots use faster methods, chosen scene by scene.

  5. 05

    Compositing & finish

Everything arrives in one language: light, colour, rhythm, sound.

Why we chose hybrid production

Made entirely through classic 3D modelling, rigging, animation and rendering, a comparable spot would have cost roughly three times as much.

The hybrid pipeline let us keep the 3D look and the character's identity while producing the spot far faster and at a workable budget.

Why we chose hybrid production

Where we work in classic 3D

  • The product and the character stay exactly as approved.
  • Full control over movement, proportions and expressions.
  • The shots where precision matters most.

Where we work hybrid

  • New scenes, situations and variants in far less time.
  • The budget concentrates on the shots that carry the film.
  • Content that can keep going month after month.

Already have a character?
We can give it a voice, a personality and a whole world.

An image became a character. A character became a campaign. The campaign can continue.

  • A still image became a character we can use again.
  • A promotional mechanic became a story that is easy to understand.
  • The spot gained its own voice and musical identity.
  • The character can return in new campaigns and episodes.

This model can work for your brand if:

  • You already have a drawing or an image of a mascot.
  • You want to explain a promotion, a product or a service.
  • You need a spot quickly, but with an identity of its own.
  • You want the character to become a recurring communication tool.
