Case study — Coccolino

Coccolino

From an existing character to a complete campaign spot.

On Coccolino, the client came to us with the brand character and a campaign mechanic that was already settled.

What the brand gained.

  • Quick adaptation

A familiar character, activated without a rebuild.

  • Identity respected

The campaign's visual world stays intact.

  • All in one spot

Character, product, voice and music in the same story.

  • Versions and sequels

New variants can come out of the same material.

The challenge was not to invent a new identity.

It was to develop the scenes, animate the character and work the products into a story that keeps the brand's visual world.

We took the campaign elements that already existed and turned them into a complete animated spot.

The challenge was not to invent a new identity.

What we did

We adapted the character for the actions the script asked for. The test alongside is that very stage — where the movements get settled, before any scene is built.

  • The concept for the scenes
  • Adapting the character for the required actions
  • Working the products into the story
  • Animation
  • Voice
  • Composing the music
  • Edit and final post-production
Action test

From the idea
to the final production.

  1. 01

    Concept & characters

We define the story, the personalities and the world it happens in.

  2. 02

    Classic 3D build

We model and texture whatever has to stay identical in every shot.

  3. 03

    Sets & props

We build the environments and objects that carry the story.

  4. 04

    Hybrid production

The rest of the shots use faster methods, chosen scene by scene.

  5. 05

    Compositing & finish

Everything arrives in one language: light, colour, rhythm, sound.

An important test for our hybrid pipeline

Coccolino was one of the projects where we tested and refined this production method. We showed that an existing brand character can be activated in a new campaign without rebuilding the whole process through traditional animation.

That way, time and budget can go into the story, the execution and the commercial impact.

Where we work in classic 3D

  • The product and the character stay exactly as approved.
  • Full control over movement, proportions and expressions.
  • The shots where precision matters most.

Where we work hybrid

  • New scenes, situations and variants in far less time.
  • The budget concentrates on the shots that carry the film.
  • Content that can keep going month after month.

An existing character does not just have to appear.
It can become the lead of the campaign.

The same elements, a new story.

  • The product and the prizesThe product and the prizes
  • The characterThe character
  • The closing frameThe closing frame

A character people knew. An entirely new campaign. Nothing rebuilt.

  • Quick adaptation of a character audiences already knew.
  • The campaign's visual identity was respected.
  • Character, product, voice and music came together in a single spot.
  • More versions and sequels remain possible.

This model can work for your brand if:

  • You have a character or visual assets that are already approved.
  • You need to adapt an international campaign for the local market.
  • You want the character to present the product or the offer.
  • You need new content without rebuilding everything from scratch.
